Looking for a Edward Liddell my GGG Grandfather the family lived in the Lamsley area my GG Grandmother Louisa Liddell was born in Lamsley abt 1851,has anyone come across this family, if so I would be greatful for any information you have.

In the 1871 census, Louise is listed as Lousia LIDDELL. She's 20, a cook, living in a household in Lorbottle, Northumberland with a 44 year old groom and a 24 year old housemaid. It's a little difficult to figure out who they work for...

I don't see Edward and I would imagine that Louise's sisters have married by 1871. I also don't see Robert LIDDELL, the blacksmith.

Henry LIDDELL, now 35, still a Gameskeeper, is also living in Northumberland with his wife Mary, daughters Ann, Isabella and Emily and sons Edward and John [both born in 1863 -- could be twins].

Given the similarity in family given names, I wouldn't be surprised if Henry is an older brother of Louise.
