Looking for more information on the BRIGHTON and WARREN families:

George BRIGHTON, b. 1822 in St. Mary Major, Exeter, and his wife, Agnes Hicks WARREN b. 1818, Plymstock.

George's parents were Robert and Margaret BRIGHTON. Robert was probably born in Norfolk. They had 9 children: George, Robert Henry, Charles, Mary Anne Hannah, Eliza Lydia, William, Emma, Eliza and Hannah.

Agnes's parents were John WARREN and Frances STRIBLING. They had 8 children: Frances Elizabeth, John, William Robert, Gwen Mary, Agnes Hicks, Robert Hicks, Agnes Gwen and Mary Jane.

The BRIGHTONs were mainly estate gardeners and farmers. George Brighton was head gardener at Mount Edgcumbe in the mid- to late 1800s. I have no idea what the Warrens and Striblings did.

If anyone has an interest in any of these names, I would love to hear from you.
