Born 1912, and apprenticed into RAF as a "goldsmith".

Flew Fairy Battles over France prior to Dunkirk evacuation, but only listed as "Substantive Flying Officer" from 28/4/1944.

Can anyone help with information about his career, and the path which lead to a mental breakdown by the end of WW2?
