I wonder if anyone can tell me if there is any way anyone can get a record of burials & headstone inscriptions for St Michaels Church (Dumfries).I have a relative that was buried there in or about 1876

I found some professional researchers, Duncan and Eva Adamson - Their help included St Michael's churchyard.

No connection - just a happy customer after breaking down a 35 year brickwall.

There is a site called Scotlands Family Tree, who are very good with scotlands searching. Costs £10 per year. Lot sof help and many have info on MI's all over Scotland. If they don't themselves have the info they can point ypu to the search areas where you can find out. I joined a couple of months ago for the Scottish side of my family and they have been superb.
