I am seeking information on Frances Williams who was born around 1762 and transported to Australia in the First Fleet.
She was quickly taken to Norfolk Island with a group to establish a settlement there.
She lived with a Marine called Robert Ryan and they had four children Sarah b 1789, Elizabeth b1791, Jane b 1793, and James b1796/
The three older children moved to Tasmania.

Dear Sandy
I believe she was born in Wibnant, Whitford Parish, in Flintshire, Wales about 1762. [She may have been the daughter of Morgan Williams and Dorothy Wright who was born in Hawarden, about 6 miles from Mold)]
Although a First Fleet convict her background is still vague. There is often much more known about the founding mothers of Australia.
My story of Frances is at users.on.net/~ahvem/page3/page93/page33/page33.html
