1851 Census Look Up Request

Hi! Me again!

Does anyone out there have the 1851 census for Northamptonshire? I am looking for James Judkins (born about 1791 in Woodford). He was married to Ann Ester Day, but sadly she was dead before the 1861 census so I don't know when and where she was born!

If anyone can help I would be very grateful!

I see their are 2 James Judkins marrying Ann (ester) in 1815 and 1818.

Therefore not sure if this is your line or the other one.

The child listed would maybe tell as there is no 1841 Census available for Weedon Beck.

Hi Sandy!

You are quite right with the two marriages. I have since discovered that James was a widower when he married Ann Ester Day in 1818. The 1815 marriage was also his, to Ann Thompson in Daventry.

Thank you for taking an interest - much appreciated, and at least I know now that there was no census for Weedon Beck in 1841!
