I obviously have his DOB,he was a FEPOW for 3 1/2 yrs and captured in Singapore.Trained in Hornchurch I believe and was ground crew- I think.All of which doesn't seem to help when trying to find info-any help would be appreciated

It would be helpful if you provide his name, and his number if you know it.
The MOD have not released WW2 records yet, but there are some places to look, especially with POWs.

Trained in Hornchurch and ground crew - must be RAF. As you are next of kin you can apply for his service record - I did this for my dad who died in WW2. It is worth every penny.

His name was Gordon Frederick Blowers and he was born on 15/9/1921 and is still alive but suffers from Dementia-hew always spoke highly of his Dutch comrades during his improvement with the Japs.Can you help me?.

To the best of my knowledge, someone with power of attorney can apply on his behalf.
