For Scottish counties, you can try the UK Free Census project at freecen.rootsweb.com/ (http://freecen.rootsweb.com/) but this site is a work in progress and probably won't have transcriptions yet for your area. You could always hurry up the process by volunteering to transcribe or proofread for them..;)
