I am researching my forebears with these surnames who were mining families in the North Staffs-Wolstanton area around Kidsgrove, Mow Cop, Newchapel and Tunstall. My family trees are pretty well developed, but are in need of some fine tuning, not to mention in-filling of gaps!
So I'd be glad to exchange information with other bona fide researchers, and I look forward to hearing from you. My grandfather was John Turner who was born at Rookery Mow Cop in 1853, and my grandmother was Fanny Cooper, born at Kidsgrove in 1855.
