Burnage family of Shillington

I am tracing the Burnage family of Shillington, my grandmother was Maud Kate and she was born there in August 1882. Her father was Alfred Burnage who married Eliza Jackson both from Shillington. If anyone know this branch of the family please get in touch.

Hi there,
I've picked up this thread from last year concerning your efforts to trace the 'Burnage's' in Bedfordshire.
It seems that my Grandfather also stemmed from the area as a Burnage but moved down to the coast (I'm along the road from you in Brighton) having lived in North London during the war.
My investigations so far show that there are 'loads' of Burnages for some reason in and around the Luton/Hemel Hempstead area.
I have also made enquiries about our coat of arms just for a laugh, but I seem to have been given conflicting data from different sources, so now do not know what to believe!
Does this make any sense to you?
