I am look for my ancesors;

My grandfather's names was Hugh Lumley Hall and his father's name was David Lumley Hall and His mother's name was Alice Hall nee Cook.

They had several children - names as follows

You'll note that both David and Thomas are 27 years old -- which would make them twins or under a year apart in age. Thomas's age is a little hard to decipher on the image -- it does look like 27 but there's a possiblility that it's something else, like 24.

1881 census: Thomas L. HALL

This is worth noting...

David's brother, Thomas L. HALL, is a sailor in the 1871 census. I don't see him with David and the rest of the family in 1861 so, possibly, he was already at sea at a young age.

In 1881, Thomas could, in all likelihood, still be a sailor, away at sea at the time the census was taken. If so, the following may be his family: Caroline HALL, head, married, 37 years old and her children Thomas L., Albert W.H. and Ada M.L. HALL, 8, 5 and 2 respectively. They're living in Bangor, Wales. Thank you very much - any further information regarding Hugh Lumley Hall I believe he went either into the army or was in the police force and ended up in Africa, where he was mauled by a lion. He died in 1935
