Looking for any information on Edgar DAVIES who I think was born about 1910 in Carmarthenshire. He married Edith Morris in Swansea in 1936. Edith's parents may have been Christopher Morris who came from the Llandebie area and Alice. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Rebecca

Finally got the marriage certificate for Edgar Davies, the writing looks a bit faint but it is possible to make out the details.
Edgar Davies and Edith Jane Morris married on the 8th October 1936 at Swansea Register Office.
Edgar was a 27 years old bachelor working as an omnibus conductor. His residence is shown as Sunny Bank, ? Tychoes, Ammanford, Carmarthen. His father David was formerly a coal miner.
Edith Jane Morris was a 26 year old spinster who at the time was working as a Domestic Servant in Sketty, Swansea. Her father Christopher Morris worked as an underground haulier at the colliery. Witnesses at the marriage were W Jones and G Voyle (or Foyle).

This helps to clear the mystery a little, now I'll follow it back to the older generations; still it keeps me out of trouble!!
Thanks again for your past help.

Hi Rebecca

Witnesses at the marriage were W Jones and G Voyle (or Foyle).

Voyle is well known surname in Pembrokeshire, so it may well be that.
