Alfred born 1860/61

John and Emma appear in the 1861, 1871 and 1881 censuses. Emma is also in the 1891 and 1901 censuses. Can supply details if you need them.

There are over 50 hits for the ANSLOW surname associated with Penkridge in the 1961 census and more for 1871. Are you able to narrow things down a bit?

Hi Trish
My greatgrandfather was the Frederick (1866-1868) listed though his birth certificate actually says 1865. His father John I have down as born in 1822 Penkridge but I cannot find his parents or his marriage to Emma Banks. I have information on another John 1780 born In Penkridge and his mother and father but am unable to connect the two. There may not be a connection of course - as you say there are a lot of Anslows born in Penkridge. Anyway thanks for trying.
Regards Heather

Yes this is my family, other children including my great grandfather born later. I am trying to trace John and Emm's marriage certificate so that I can find out if parents tie up with another John Anslow born in Penkridge in 1780. If I can connect the two I have information going further back from other sources.
Many thanks Heather
