Hi,
Is there someone who could look in the Electoral Roll for the village of Portisham, Dorset for the surname MILLER? My grandparents CHARLES HENRY & SARAH ALICE EMILY MILLER moved their family of 6 children from Hackney to live in the village of Portisham some time between 1924 -1927. The younger children attended the local school but the record that I've seen does not give an address. I have no idea why they moved there or their address and have always wondered about this; there were cousins born in Abbotsbury. The whole family up sticks and moved back to Hackney but again I have no idea why and am hoping that some information might be available through the Electoral Rolls.
I'd be very glad of any assistance with this puzzle.:)
