Just by googling the name CATTANO, there appears many instances, but it seems to originate from Naples and other areas of Tuscany.

Have you tried the Anglo-Italian Family History Society (http://www.parishchest.com/Anglo_Italian_FHS__LID371) at all? :smile5:
