Who is Thomas McLean??

I need help to find his family, according to Australian marriage certificate Thomas McLean was born about1829 in Lanarkshire. Father John McLean (a farmer) and mother (May, Marg or Mary) Simson. He probably came to Australia alone in about 1860. Would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

My Great Grandmother Mary had a younger brother named Thomas, he was born in Lanarkshire, Govan I believe. I am researching family history but lose contact with Thomas after he lived with the family in Glasgow. I came to a brick wall, could he have emigrated??

Could these people be related???????
