Brighton Industrial School - Warren farm

Hi I am back again looking for William Henry Edwards he was born in Feb 1871 and is not on that years census as far as I can tell. The 1881 census shows a William Edwards aged 11 at the Brighton Industrial School which is in the area his mother and stepfather lived, they are on the 1881 census but he is not in their home. Can anyone help me find the records of this school to ascertain who this boys mother was? Regards Sedgepea

I'd ask East Sussex Record Office. Be sure to give them the full details of the place ie Brighton Industrial School, Warren Farm, Rottingdean.
