John Bawden

Hi, I am researching a John Bawden who was bapt 1796 in Breage. can anyone tell me if his parents were Edward Bawden & Mary Walters. John married Elizabeth Williams in 1819 in Breage. Does anyone have these people in their tree?

It certainly looks very likely. Edward & Mary married in 1782 and according to the opc database John was their 7th child baptised there.
The witness at the marriage of John & Elizabeth doesn't immediately help. I would look to see if Edward left a will which mentions John.
There were a lot of Bawdens in Breage so it may be difficult to prove. John & Elizabeth did not seem to have any children baptised in Breage, did they move away?

Thanks for that. I definately think that they are his parents. I also think Edward was born 1757 with parents Edward Bawden & Jane Harvey.
