mmm, he would go nicely with Martha Crumble (b.1857).

Or as it's Wimbledon time, how about Edward Strawberry and Mary Ann Cream (both born 1843)?

I can provide Pike and Roach (a fishy lot my ancestors...) If it's a picnic I can only bring one Appel, but have a few Meadows and Forrests to choose from, though if it's to be held in the latter then my Cleggs might get in the way.

(We call them clegs where I come from - otherwise known as horse-flies)

My ROBINSONs could supply the barley water and the BAKEWELLs could bring the tarts.

I could bring SALT and CHERRYs and a NIGHTINGALE to sing for us.

I have a whole host of BOOZERs who would love to join the party.

Thank you all for coming to the party!

If you look on FreeBMD you'll find plenty of CAKE to take home with you; if only Jane PARTY and George BAG had got together, there'd be something to put it in.

P.S. I especially liked Tom Ato (how could parents be so cruel?) but I think the Rennies made me laugh most
(thank you, Del 80 and Terry, for bringing them). :smilielol5:

According to the GRO records there were two of them, twenty years apart. Can we presume that Tom Ato was not going to suffer alone and named his son Tom Ato as well, though at least he gave him the middle name Robert!

Have the guests help to dig out a new barbeque picnic area. plant a shade tree, start a Herb/vegie garden. How wholesome.

Well, after all the 'grub', I have only 1 Gardiner by name in my trees but loads of Gardener's by trade. Can I bring 'em?

And with my name, may I also bring the "Rolaids/'

I can ensure fine weather as I can bring my Summers from Arkansas, Missouri and Kentucky. And for fun and games, all the Toye/Toy's you want - Ball's and Golley's.

As for drinks - for the kids I can bring several bottles of Waters and for the adults Johnnie Walker.

Looking through my list I could bring a Cleaver to cut up the meat for the barbie, a Piper to entertain us, a few more Beers, some extra Guests, some Shirts if anyone forgot to bring theirs -- and a bag of Revills for the kids.

All the best,
