Through the Library’s newspaper digitisation project, 7 million pages, from a total of 270 newspapers, are now available online through Trove.
The first non-English language newspapers have justbeen added to Trove, the Library's free online search service. Through our Australian Newspapers Digitisation Program (http://email.synergymail.com.au/t/r-l-hyidurt-soutuiul-k/),selected German, Italian and Estonian community newspapers have now beendigitised. They include German newspapers The AdelaiderDeutsche Zeitung (http://email.synergymail.com.au/t/r-l-hyidurt-soutuiul-u/)(1851 and 1860-1862), SuedaustralischeZeitung/ Sud-Australische Zeitung (http://email.synergymail.com.au/t/r-l-hyidurt-soutuiul-o/)(1850-1851) and Sud-AustralischeZeitung (http://email.synergymail.com.au/t/r-l-hyidurt-soutuiul-b/)(1860-1874), an Italian newspaper, Il GiornaleItaliano (http://email.synergymail.com.au/t/r-l-hyidurt-soutuiul-n/) (1932-1940) and an Estonian newspaper Meie Kodu (http://email.synergymail.com.au/t/r-l-hyidurt-soutuiul-p/)(1949-1954)
