To mark the Diamond Jubilee, digital images of Queen Victoria's journals (141 volumes) have been put online at queenvictoriasjournals.org (put 'www.' in front).
Some are in Queen Victoria's own hand; others are transcripts, some (abridged, handwritten) by her daughter Princess Beatrice and others (typed) by Lord Esher. Modern transcription of the diaries is a work in progress. The ones from 1832 to 1840 are, if I understand it correctly, fully transcribed and searchable. All of the diaries can be browsed by date. There's a delightful gallery of illustrations from the journals and the Queen's sketchbooks.
