Hi can anyone out there help me? This is not a look up request as such. My Grandfather died in Rugby infirmary on the 1st of March 1935. His name was ALFRED WILLIAM BRAITHWAITE. My father lost touch with him when he was a small boy when his mother and father seperated. He came from Bridlington, Yorkshire born 1883 and then moved to Stoke on trent when he married. He was a chef by profession and worked in one of the large hotels of the day in Rugby. I think he moved to Rugby around the middle 1920's does anyone know how I can find out where he was living in these years? Did he have another partner and children? (He never divorced his wife) I am absolutely stuck and don't know where to go next for info.
