I have 2 black sheep in my tree.
One was sentenced along with his accomplce to serve a significant amount hard-time and the other did 1 year at hard labour.
I have read newspaper aricles on both cases. I have traced the families of both convicts and their lives both before and after convictions and it wasn't pretty!!!
The former was convicted Assault with Intent to commit G-B-H and the latter was convicted of Bigamy.
Much has been posted in other threads about these families, but what I have had no success with is finding actual court records of these cases and their subsequent trials. :beatdeadhorse5:
If I post their names and details of the men involved, can anyone offer further assistance?
