Hello,
I am a new subscriber to the list in the hope of finding out more about my Logan family connections.
I am tracing the line of James Logan born about 1870 in Edinburgh. He resided in Cluny Drive Edinburgh, worked as a bookkeeper for the General Post Office in edinburgh and had the initials M.A. after his name.
He had a son George who was born on the 19th April 1893 in Edinburgh. He attended George Watson's College from 1899/1900 to 1911.
George enlisted in the Lothians and Border Horse in Feb 1914.
He married Susan Carswell about 1912 and had a son Edward Clark born in Paris on the 21st April 1913. He immigrated to Australia, with his parents I think...
Edward married Thelma Olivia Gration in Melbourne on the 3rd April 1939 and my mother Judith=Ann was born on the 18th May 1939....don't forget it only takes nine months for the second and consecitive children....
Would anybody else have any other information from this line of the Logan clan or with information about Edinburgh at this period of time.
