Dear Each,
I am just starting to research another branch of our family. They originally came from Cuckfield, or so I am led to beleive. My x3 grandfather, FIELD William was born in Cuckfield 15th April 1810. I am told that his father, FIELD Michael, died in 1817! Now, EITHER my information is wrong OR they have a very long gestation period in Sussex!
I have, this evening, applied to join the Sussex FHG and shall be ordering their 'marriage' CD when I receive my member pack. However, you know what its like when you have a problem! If anybody can give me any idea of sorting out this 'starter' I would be most grateful!
