Unfortunately you did not give the source of your information, though I suspect it was FamilySearch. If you were to look at the 'original' India Office burial record, the only other information which may, and only may, be included is an indication of the man's rank or regiment if he was a soldier. Certainly you would not expect to see a cause of death at this early date and family information is not provided unless the deceased was an infant, and still unlikely as early as 1821.
