Hi, I'm trying to trace my 2x Great Grandmother Janet Brook Carmichael movements to New Zealand.
She was christened on the 19th October 1836 in Glasgow.
She came out to New Zealand sometime before 1864.
She married Andrew Cockburn Goodlet on the 28yh June 1864 at Inch Clutha, Southland, New Zealand.
They had 9 children (all born in Southland, NZ)
Janet's parents are Colin Carmichael (1810 - ) and Isabella Campbel (1811 - )
Janet's sibling are - Andrew, Catherine (she also came out to NZ),Daniel and Alexander.
:boat:
If anyone can help me with shipping records etc (I'm not having much luck from my NZ end) Janet may not have came straight from Scotland to New Zealand, she may have gone via Australia (but still not had much luck from that end either).
So if anyone can help me with any ideas were else to look etc I would be so grateful.
:seeya:
Thank you
Ali
