Hunting for early settlers in Upper Canada? :detective:

Here's a site I stumbled upon.... lots of interesting information and you never know who you may find! There is a charge for some of the information and to use parts of it you have to register...no charge for that. It does take a while for your registration to go through as it is run by one person.
ontariogenealogy.com/ontariohistoryuppercanadaancestors dot html with the usual http and www in the front.

Hi everyone,

I have used the services of this website and found the 'operator' of the site to be efficient and timely in terms of delivery of source material ordered. Please note that some of the births/deaths/marriage information that is available on this site on pay per view basis, may also be available through the Trent University archives free of charge. Trent University has transcribed a number of marriage/birth/death registers for Upper Canada. Access the 'search' function through this website:

http://www.trentu.ca/admin/library/archives/titles.htm

In my own research, I have found this to be the case.

Cheers,
