Greetings,
This is my first posting to this site. Just before my mother died (recently) she mentioned that her step-father had been married in England before WWI. This was news to her brother (my uncle) and sister. I have been searching and have found a marriage of a JOAN I. SUTHERLAND to JOHN FULCHER, 1964, in Swansea.
Joan's grandfather, and my uncle's father, would be the same man, Harry Preston. My uncle is 80 years old and would like to contact them asap.
I have sent off for the marriage certificate but would be very grateful for any help/suggestions in contacting the above mentioned people, or their children, if there are any. (This is just to establish family connections, nothing to do with money or anything like that!)
