Does anyone have James in their tree?
He was born in Elgin possibly, in c1803
By 1841 he is living in Latheron CAI.
He possibly married Margaret WATSON.
And that is about all I know about his early life, all pretty vague really

OOPs wrong dates. His son William was born c1803, so James would have to have been born 20 or so years earlier
