HI

Does anyone know whether is it possible to research a will from 1998? If I can get this will it will help with a line I am researching.

Thanks in advance

Kirky

Of course. Probated wills are public records.

Stoke on Trent probate sub-registry should have the 1998 calendars on computer (phone to check before making the journey) or just use the postal service as described on the website

Peter, i would like to view my uncles will who died in Southend in 2005. Does Southend have a registry where i can view the will?
Thanks Graham.

That's not really the way it works. You could give the Lincoln sub-registry a call and ask their advice. They should have the calendars on their system and may be be able to take an order for a copy.

However, it's probably easier just to write to Leeds as described in the link shown in message #2.
