Hi all,
I found that I have quite a few relative's diaries and address books, and I was trying to think of an appropriate way to store all the information. Why it took me so long is beyond me, but I realised that Outlook is perfect! It will surely be a long and boring job, but by typing all the entries into the calendar, everything will be searchable. Also, you can use the contacts book to store all the details of your relatives' friends, neighbours etc so that you can create a complete archive (http://www.parishchest.com/RECORDING_FAMILY_HISTORY__LDD8804) of who they lived with, and possibly make new connections between different places.
