I have a William Edward Perry born 11/10/1820 in Reading.
According to quaker records his 2nd marriage was to Eliza Everard 8/6/1867 Lambeth London
I am unable to find a record of his 1st marriage and who was she?

Would be grateful if anyone can help with this.

Have you tracked William back through the censuses? Where was he in 1861, 1851 and 1841? Any clue to a previous wife in those records?

Charlotte PERRY aged 34

both born Reading

on the same page is Charlotte DAVIS

Many thanks Nicolina, I think this must be the correct one as my william edward perry was a joiner. Will try and find a death for charlotte.
