William Paris (Parris) and Elizabeth Joyce (Joice) married before 1789 when their first? child was born in Aldermaston. Not sure if Aldermaston comes under Berks or Hants at this time as some enumerators have put both, which really helps!!
I am desperate to find out anything about them, I am following the Paris line and now have it direct from William (above) to me, more than willing to help anyone else with a interest in this family.
Here's hoping someone can help me,
Regads Ann

Hi Ann and Sue

This may have nothing to do with your line of search but it may be interesting just the same.

I have done Family research in Malta and there are quite a few families with that name PARIS. It is not pronounced as when you say PARIS in France

It is pronounced PAA REECE. Where does this name originate from ?
