View Full Version : William Weal
Hi List. I have been trying to find the age and/or origin of a William Weal who married Ann Potts in Folkestone Kent in 19th Nov 1829. His occupation was a Mariner, by the 1851 census his children were living in Dover Workhouse and he is described as a lunatic. I've spent a day at Maidstone centre for Kentish studies trying to find a record of him at Barmingheath Asylum but had no luck,Likewise the 1841 and 1851 census. If anyone has any knowledge of or comes across any information on him i would really appreciate an email.
Regards Richard Weal

Frederick was born West Norwood, Edward his father married at the same place, but born in Chatham.
Hope you had luck with your William Weal, My wife has the marriage entry in her collection but has not made a link.
