WILLIAM DOHERTY, spouse ELLEN BERGIN from Tipperary had a daughter in Tipperary in 1845 called MARGARET DOHERTY. Margaret married JOHN ANDERSON in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia in 1868. Has anyone come across them? I have been following my family and have not been able to get details about them. Thanks!:

hi
what you must realize is you will get no birth records for this time your looking for baptisimal records .
(google) rootsireland a fee paying site and register .
go down left hand column to countys
tipp is divided into two go into tipp north
enter doherty , search
click into births
enter william as fathers first name , search
youll get a list of births , your lot are POSSIBLE charles 1838 michael 1840 mary 1843 margaret 1845
if you look at area where you put in williams name youll notice advanced button , press this
enter mothers name ellen search 4 results enter mothers surname as well same four results (id guess ones above)
you can purchase all 4 results for 12 euros , should be typed out copys of baptisms , givin parents names witnesses and address church parish etc .

marriages happened in wifes parish church usually , none found for tipp north , youll need to search surrounding countys one at a time .
ellen could be helen , surname could be miss spelt or names could be in latin !

hope this helps good luck

Obbie, This is great! I have tried to get them through local papers and did think it likely that there was a brother called Charles.
Thanks.
