I am researching these names in Torrington Devon and have some information

Hi,

I Keith,there are two of us here doing Perrimans in Torrington.My interest is in Elenor Flora Perriman b 1832 who was the daughter of Mary Perriman.I can not find Marys mother.I do know she wed a Issac Lakeman and both Mary and Issac died when Elenor(also known as Ellen) was quite young.

If you can help with any of this it would be great.

The only Mary Perri(y)man I have is the Daughter of Joseph and Mary Verrant, she was born in 1817 in Stoke Damerel, Devonport. That would make her 14/15/16 at the birth of her daughter? Bit young though? I don't know when this family moved back to Torrington though, as Joseph had come from there before joining the Royal Navy, and he died there. Maybe this was a different Mary, but Joseph had a brother William and a sister, Mary.

The family at this time changed regularly between i and y BTW.
