Has anyone some knowledge of this area? I am interested in the names of the people living at a smallholding on Rettendon Common some time between the 1920s to 1940s (and also possibly later) - perhaps their home was a bungalow named Burleigh near a little church. A couple lived there with a daughter Louisa? and a son who later joined the Mounted Police in Canada. There were chickens on the smallholding and possibly a well.
