Robert William Spencer and Hannah Mary Nelson are my great great grandparents. He was a sea captain/mariner and died before 22 Feb, 1849 when their son Robert Nelson Spencer was married to Elizabeth Baker.
Hannah Mary was born around 1800. They were married at St. Mary's Parish, Kingston upon Hull 21 January, 1822. They resided on Trippet Street in Hull on 18 Dec, 1828 when their son Robert Nelson was born. Family Bible refers to Hannah as the daughter of Lord Nelson's brother but I can find no references in Nelson genealogy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
