john gowans/agnes dunlop. west calder

they are my 4Xgreat grandparents they were born in West Calder about 1740. I cant find any info about them like who their parents were. I do have their children.

Have you tried Scotland's People (paysite)? Searching the OPRs for John GOWANS (use soundex) in West Calder, with the date range 1738-1740, finds two possible birth/baptism records.

You would have to buy a few credits to see if either is relevant.
