William James TAYLOR born 1873 Cleator Cumberland
At the start of the Boer War was living in Newcastle-on-Tyne
He went to South Africa I don't know when........his wife Hannah and 4 children joined him there living in an army camp in Cape Town until after the war. William James and family remained in South Africa. My mother remembers her Grandfather looking very smart in his red jacket uniform....so he definitely didn't fight with the Boers but against them.
I've looked through Kevin Asplins list..........Taylors aplenty.........no WJ TAYLOR.
I can't look through TNA ..........sooooooooooo PLEASE I need some help.
