Hello,
Anybody know if the records have been transcribed for the following churches please.
St.Mary's Fernyhalgh Preston
St.Francis & Hill Chapel Goosnargh Preston.

The Catholic National Library has a list of parishes (catholic-library.org.uk/registers.html - put www. in front) transcribed by the CFHS, others have been publish by the Catholic Record Society (catholic-history.org.uk/crs/) - you'll need to search that site to check. It's also possible that some transcriptions are in the local or county archives. However, it may well be that the registers are still with the Parish Priest.

Michael Gandy doesn't seem to list those two churches in his Catholic Missions & Registers, 1700-1880 so I suspect that the PP is the man you'll have to consult.
