Definitely says hairdresser, Wendy. It was practice in old English to write the long 's' which looks like a modern 'f'

I've had a quick look for you.

P usually indicates Poor.
PH may indicate that the deceased was brought from the Poor House.

I haven't spotted LH. Can you give us a page number please?

In the context of PH indicating Poor House, LH may indicate Lunatic House.
