The Globe Inn, Woolwich

Hi Folks,
The above PH was situated in Church Stree, Woolwich. I have searched the 1911 census for it only to find that the houses etc are recorded by number only. Would anyone know what number it was ? If so would they kind enought to let me know it, please. I'm trying to trace a missing husband !

According to the Dead Pubs website (deadpubs.co.uk) it was number 8 and, at least from 1905 to 1921, was run by one Edward Cross. :smile5:

I think it was number 8 and I believe the landlord from about 1905 to 1921 (maybe longer) was Edward Cross.
(Post Office Directory).

I have a feeling the road is now known as Woolwich Church Street.
