Can anyone help me! I am a South African living in England. Up until 2 days go I had not been able to find any of my paternal grandmother's sibilings other than her one sister that emigrated to South Africa with her in the early 1900's. I have now found some of the information that has revealed 7 brothers and sisters. I am now looking for 'lost cousins' of these siblings. She was Dora Grant Dempster Walker born in 1882 in Cupar, Fife and the second youngest in the family. Her father was David born 1841 and mother Margaret ? Christie born 1847 (daughter of Christian (b 1817) and Lizzie Christie (b1819). Her siblings were David b 1868 in Anstruther Easter, Magdelen Wylie b 1874 in Collessie, William Falls b 1876 in Cupar, Maggie Thomson b 1878 Cupar, Mary Jane Watson b 1880, Cupar and Marjory (Madge) Scott b 1887 in Cupar.
Paternal grandparents were William b 1816 in Dalmeny, Linlithgow and Elizabeth McGregor b 1816 in Forgan, Fife and other siblihngs of David (1841) were James b 1840, Agnes b 1844 Portmoak, Kinross, Mary b 1843 in Kinross, Andrew b 1851 in Kettle, William 1856 in Inverkeithin?, Elizabeth b 1863 - Aberdour, Fife and Whilemina 1869 (granddaughter?)
Hopefully there is someone out there who is related to some of these people and I look forward to hearing from them.
