View Full Version : How can a 'guest' navigate the site?

I am helping a cousin in researching his mother's line. This has no bearing on my activity, but I want him to view the threads that I have started or subscribed to so that he can see what great assistance B-G has provided me with.

Is this possiblr and if so, how?

Probably on the wrong forum, or even more-so a stupid question - but I joined the site without venturing past the registration page.

Couldn't find one that addressed this particular situation

As far as I am aware Colin, a guest can see the posts, but can't post themselves. I had a quick look in another browser as a "guest" and I could see your post and all the various threads etc fine. The only thing I couldn't see was the Search option, so you may find it easier to send your cousin a link to the threads directly, rather than have them wade through all the posts!

Why doesn't he just register? It's free.

I agree with Vanessa, why not?

He can ask his own questions but can also be your friend (contact). He just needs to click on you to see how active you are. ;)
