This is an amazing site hosted by the University of Houston. They have put online more than five million images of documents from the National Archives, dating from the time of Henry III to the Commonwealth. The amount of material is staggering. Unfortuntely most of it is in abbreviated Latin and very little of it is indexed. There are some Chancery records - the C33 series from about 1560 to 1650 - that have an index of sorts, and these records are in English. Also there are tutorials on medieval law, paleography and other subjects.

I have spent a few days going through the C33 indexes and transcribing some of those records. For the rest, there are literaly millions of pages, so I hardly know where to start.
