The 1851 census states that Edward Young was born in Hellidon about 1804. His wife Ann Warner was born in Finedon about 1807. It appears they were married in October 1829 in Leamington Priors, Warwickshire. Their eldest child, William, was born 1830 in Milverton, Warwicksire. The remaining children were all baptised in Helmdon. Elizabeth, 1833, Jane 1836, James 1838, Joseph 1841, Peter 1845, Mary Elizabeth 1847, and Hannah 1849. Edward was listed as a laborer and Ann as a lace maker.
I am surprised by the amount of travel that appears to have been done by the family. Were their travels, (Northants, Warwick, Northants) unusual for the time?
