George Atkinson, b 1841 in Appleby, moved to Crosbyravensworth, Census 1861 shows him Queens College, Oxford, Census 1871 Master at Clifton College, Bristol, Census of 1881 still there. At that time he was still unmarried. Does anyone have any information on him?

Yes, it certainly appears to be. His full name was George Thompson Atkinson. I am new at this so please give more info. I have the web site you mention, but how do I see the picture? I note you are in South Australia! My home was Jamaica! I am wondering if George emmigrated to Jamaica where his cousin of same age lived. Use this e-mail: dclark48 AT juno DOT com
