Trying to find a Will

My grandparents died a year or so apart and I'm not sure about the estate if any.

Sarah Jane Rowledge died in Willesden - July-Sept. q. 1949
William Robert Rowledge died in Hendon - Oct-Dec. q. 1950

If there was a will or an estate, I believe the executor of same may have been their son Herbert who died in Hendon in 1972.

There was another older son, but I'm not sure of his residence around the time of the 'old folks' deaths

I contacted my 'local' about 30 miles away and was advised [via an automated message] that due to the economic downtown, their equipment to view was in need of repair and that, as subscriptions/donations were low, no service is currently available.

Am I back to the 2nd option, or could some kind soul assist me?
